Silk is a series of bracelets that combined textile and goldsmith techniques by connecting fine silk and metal (brass) fabric. The coloring of the fabric was handmade in a type of printing method, done by the gentle hammering of dry, wet vine leaves on the fabric. The challenge in such a project is to connect the metal and the fabric in a way that would fit these two opposing materials.
