Argo was inspired by the famous building by architect Zaha Hadid- ‘Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center’ in Baku, Azerbaijan. The sculptural and amorphous aspect of modern architecture is evident in the shoe design of recent years. Exploring the space around the foot and treating the shoe as a valid artistic object that holds quality’s far beyond its function. Hadid’s flowing and amorphous design are represented in a form of wrapping for the foot, the sole and the limb are placed in a distance from one another, an element that creates the illusion of a floating foot.
